I am a multi-disciplinary designer interested in community facing solutions achieved through progressive problem solving. I am fascinated with the theory surrounding type design and unique print practices.

My work deals with a wide range of material from archival visual ephemera to my own research and writing.

    Me with a poster!

    Radical Film Network Conference Design
    2024

The Radical Film Nework hosts a conference annually and I was briefed to design the identity for this years’ conference held in Madrid. This included printed matter such as large scale posters and programmes as well as a digital timetable. The client had a really clear vision for the aesthetic of the conference which I refined to an indentity that would look as strong physically as it did digitally. I did implement a slightly different style in regards to the imagery to symbolise the grass roots, community aspect of the organisation.

This project was one that I completed all the way through from ideation to print and install which gave me a valuable insight to the finishing process.

    London College of Fashion Archives
    2025

I designed a collection of assets to advertise LCF’s archives to students around the univeristy. They required a bold and succinct design that was coherent between elements and emphasise the extensive and storytelling aspect of the archives. This project required a keen eye for detail and adhesion to brand guidelines and existing visual identity.

    We Design For The Community/
    The Common Press

    2024 - Ongoing

Through the ‘We design for the community’ project, I have been working alongside Common Press - an independant radical bookshop and arts space. The aim of the project was to provide support through design to community and charity organisations that would otherwise not have the time or funds to do this themselves.

The inspiration for the aesthetic of the assets came from the cut + paste, punk visuals from the 70s that were created as a result of limited materials, budget and time. Paying homage to this time in history made sense for the content as well as being generally clear and striking.

    Labouring to
    Remain Illegible

    2024

“Labouring to Remain Illegible” is a collative research publication about ‘low resolution’ art and design and the future of post-digital creativity. It includes my own dissertation which advocates for lo-fi design and higlights the social implications it had throughout history.

This book was self published on G.F Smith Gmund paper & Hemp blocker, 100gsm. Whilst most of it is printed single/duo colour on a Xerox inkjet - parts are risographed.

This piece of work was recently featured on Dezeen!

    Madruga Festival Zine
    2025
I was briefed with designing a newspaper/zine for the third edition of Madruga, an independant music festival in Wales. They wanted a lo-fi, satirical, cheesy feel to the zine which was achieved through the one colour print. I also designed other assets for the festival such as set times and posters advertising activities.

I wanted to reflect the community, grassroots ethos of the festival with friendly, unstructured approach to the design.

This project required a strict adhesion to print deadlines, effective communication with the rest of the festival team and an understanding of how to balance existing branding with a new aesthetic language.

500 printed by a local printers in Oxfordshire on 80gsm sunflower yellow cartridge.

    Posters risographed on newsprint.

    Documentary Film Council

    2024

I designed a identity for the Documentary’s partnership framework proposal, utilising existing design elements iconic to the organisation’s visual identity. This was a quick turnaround project.

    Motion experimentation
    2025

This motion piece was an experimentation with manipulating the frame animation process. It is a result about 200 printed and scanned frames.

The inspiration for this project came from wanting to explore the relationship between reprocessing formats using physical print methods.

Frames printed on inkjet printer scanned and cut back into motion.
    Typenowhere 2024 Degree show poster
I designed the poster for my grauduate degree show with the intention of reflecting the ethos of the course. Lo-fi print processes have always been a fundamental element of the BA Graphic Design course and we wanted to show this through the use of the Risograph to print. Fun and playful but striking and bold was the inspiration for the type.

Risographed on recycled cartridge and neon paper.
